Key initiatives include a state-of-the-art CNG plant in Omotosho, Ondo State, spanning over ten acres, underscoring TREC’s commitment to promoting cleaner fuel alternatives. The company also oversees the development and management of renewable and transitional energy assets, such as CNG mother stations, LNG plants, and facilities for assembling solar panels, batteries, and inverters, enhancing renewable energy production and storage. Additionally, TREC is venturing into hydrogen fuel production for power generation and industrial applications, aligning with global trends towards sustainable energy solutions.

TREC’s scope further encompasses the development of solar power projects, diversifying Nigeria’s renewable energy sources. Notably, the company is executing a solar project under the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) and African Development Bank (AfDB) in various parts of the country. An upcoming 5 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) capacity CNG plant in Ondo State is also under development, solidifying TREC’s role in bolstering Nigeria’s natural gas infrastructure.
